Prayer Requests..,

I would like to ask each of you to pray for Kelley as she faces the fact that her Dad (Ronnie York) may have cancer. She said they believe it involves the upper right lobe of the lung, it is also against the chest wall, and a couple of lymph nodes. They are pretty sure he has cancer and will take a biopsy tomorrow morning to determine the type of treatment they will pursue. Also pray for his salvation, we do not think he has been saved, and he isn't real open to talk about it. Hopefully someone can reach him. Kelley loves her Dad and it is a burden on my heart for my daughter to hurt and worry. Please pray about this and I will be sure to keep you posted as things unfold.

Remember Mike Walker (Johnny's oldest brother) in your prayers as he under goes another cardioversion procedure on Friday morning as his heart returned to A-Fib after 37 days of a regular rhythm from the last treatment. Pray for the doctors to find the under lying reason for this and it can be successfully treated.

My neighbor and friend Laurie Cain is having a cat scan to be sure her body is cancer free after recently having surgery to remove a tumor in her stomach a few weeks ago. Pray for her peace of mind, comfort, and complete healing as she is watched closely for the next five years.

Pray for my friend Teresa Hughey (she's also the wife Dale, who is Johnny's cousin) as she has surgery for a knee injury. Also her friend Betsee is still fighting her battle with cancer and chemo.

My friend Patti Goodson's Dad Gil Roberts is facing back surgery Sept. 28th, please pray for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
